Expected Geomorphology Series:

My work is defined by geology which is the study of rocks, substances and physical processes that make up the earth’s surface. From this starting point I have taken several rock samples wedged them into clay and compressing them further into moulds. To explore how the world around us is build up and torn down through weathering, whilst also looking into glazing to explore in a more visual/ colourful way how I’ve taken the landscape and reflected it back into my work. That has now begun to corrode taking on a eroded, biological appearance, that sits more at home within the geological landscape. Triggering a further line of work that explores the geological environment which takes on a eroded, biological appearance, that sits more at home within the geological landscape.
